Israeli history coming to your living room

This isn't a history class. It's an experience.
🔹 Led by an Israeli who lived it – 20 years in the army, including the current war
🔹 In your home, with Israeli drinks and good friends

We talk. We think. We connect. That's how history comes alive.

About me and what I believe

My name is Omer Pollak, and history—especially Israeli history—has been my lifelong passion. I grew up in a small kibbutz in the Jordan Valley, on Israel’s eastern border, before moving in early September 2024. I hold a bachelor's degree in history from the Hebrew University and have been a soldier since 2004, serving both in mandatory service and in reserve duty through the current war.

I am deeply concerned about Israel’s future, and I firmly believe that to truly understand the present—both the internal conflicts and external challenges—one must first grasp the past. The processes and forces that shaped where we are today didn’t emerge overnight, and without historical context, it’s impossible to fully comprehend the complexities of Israel’s reality.

We turn to history because we’re searching for answers about today. And when the present feels as painful and uncertain as it does now, that’s when history comes alive—offering perspective, clarity, and connection.

My extensive experience with discussion-based learning has shown me that real understanding comes through conversation—offering the deepest insights and the most engaging way to explore history.
